Description

Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. The PADI Divemaster Course is the first level of professional diving certification, and is aimed at those who want to make scuba diving as a career.

You will work closely with a PADI Instructor to develop your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.

PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.

What you Learn

• Act as a certified instructional assistant to PADI instructors
• Supervise participants in PADI experience programs for uncertified divers
• Generally supervise both training and non training related diving activities by planning, organizing and directing dives
• Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers
• Conduct the PADI Scuba Review program for certified divers.
• Enroll in PADI Instructor level training

Prerequisite

• A PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
• Current CPR and First Aid
• Ownership of all dive gears (Preferable)
• Divemaster Exams with scores 75 percent or better
• Knowledge Review from Divemaster Manual
• Completed Waterskills and Stamina Module
• Completed Practical Application Module
• Proof of 60 dives
